This course is intended to provide information and skills to the Rescue and Fire Fighting Services (RFFS) employed Low Category Aerodromes who may deal with fire incidents that involve undercarriages, engines, internal fires and any associated hazards.
To ensure that all students attending this course can define the required tactics and techniques to be employed at the scene of an aircraft incident involving an undercarriage assembly, engine or internal fire and state the required action at the scene following firefighting and rescue operations.
